Stuart FL, Fishing Reports

Dolphin fishing has been one of the best in years.  Offshore, their has been massive amounts of weeds,  and the fish have been there also.   Try trolling near the weeds untill you get a hookup, then toss over a live bait and they should inhale it.  If you dont have any live bait,  any chunk like bonita or sardine, will work fine. Just remember to keep the last one hooked in the water ,till you hook up to another dolphin, they seem to come to investigate and will keep them around for a little longer!  The mullet have started their way down to the south,   and mackeral , bonita, and snook will be following.
